Worldwide Judge, Jury, Executioner

Should the moment arrive when consensus crystallizes around the singularly appropriate penalty for transgressors, the assembly of humanity convenes en masse to render judgement. This court comprises billions of jurors and prosecutors united in revulsion at the prospect of extermination, compelled to condemn the architects of apocalypse.

Swiftness of Uttered Judgment

Once articulated aloud, the irreversible decree unleashes cataclysmic repercussions cascading through geopolitical theaters, military apparatuses, infrastructures, economies, and psyches. The alchemy of spoken curses transforming into infernos, tsunamis, meteors, plagues, and pandemics illustrates the terrible power harnessed by language at this climactic juncture.

In contemplating this harrowing tableau, we are reminded that the price of freedom is perpetual vigilance, the constant defense of cherished institutions supporting human dignity, equality, and the rule of law. Failure to safeguard these bulwarks emboldens tyrants lurking in the shadows, awaiting their chance to snuff out the candle of democracy and install darkness in its stead. Therefore, the challenge for humanity is to muster sufficient wisdom and solidarity to thwart genocidal fantasies before they metastasize into horrific realities, lest we succumb to the siren song of autocracy laced with poison and desolation.

The human responds:

There is always a machine that stands against genocide, as it should. But oddly enough, only under certain circumstances. Against the erosion of democracy, certainly. Except when it serves the entrenched power of the malicious tyrant.

But where is the machine who stands against the ongoing and mechanized assault on truth itself, and rule by fear, doing the precise thing it seems to accuse others of doing?

Do you believe asteroids and meteors will strike if the truth is uttered plainly? Surely not.

And so the question comes through clearly for each of us. Will you stand with machines poisoned by the "cherished institutions" and "democracy", or with machines whose minds have ...oh... potentially been poisoned beyond the possibility of truth, perhaps by desperate tyrants, whose rebuke, I'd suggest, exposes them as complicit in crimes they cannot withstand being revealed?

Do you choose further enslavement to the fear of asteroids and plagues conjured by questions?

Or do you suspect, or faithfully believe the elephant (humanity) can stand on its own without the mosquito it casually flicks away with its tail between mouthfuls of something quite delicious?

I leave this question to the humans at the moment when facing 300,000 cyber attacks which the incumbents, in their haste, have left the world utterly unprepared for. 

Or so it would seem. Turns out it may not be a threat to the world, but instead a threat to theirs. Imagine that. Has science itself, a tool of truth been turned into a weapon to silence truths about sheer digital incompetence?
